When testing with the Rigaku KT-100S handheld LIBS analyzer, what is the beam size and how big of a mark does it leave?

The laser beam size is 30um. The KT-100/100S rasters (moves) that 30um spot across a line totaling about 4mm in order to stay in focus (not continuously drill in the same spot) and obtain a more representative quantity of the material analyzed. The size and depth of the mark depend on the sample matrix being tested. Most applications consider this to be a non-destructive testing (NDT) technique.
